From her vantage point on the fallen tree, she watched a russet and cream male wander her way. Unlike most of the wolves who came here, he didn't seem to be wandering for any purpose - that was, he didn't have a sharp gaze out for any potential opponents like he was looking for a fight. She dropped to her haunches, then to her belly, as the minutes ticked by and he came closer, though no one else had appeared on the horizon so she kept glancing back to him. He still seemed to be coming her general direction, but didn't so much as glance at her. By the time he stopped next to her perch for a drink, still without noticing her, she was grinning widely in amusement. Sure she was drably colored so she didn't expect to draw anyone's attention in a crowd, but he must be really out of it to have not noticed her laying there. "Hey, buddy," she said playfully. "You seem like you're lost - lookin' for something?"
