She was torn, uncertain if she should help or get away. Deciding that the woman was trying to protect her Mæva bounded up the bank, getting farther inland. "Are they fast? Will it chase us?" It didn't look like it would be too fast running across land despite its agility near the water but she wasn't sure. She'd never seen such a thing and she already decided that she didn't like it.
