Siren remained silent, thankfully she found a nice rock to stand on so that the dead wolves wouldn’t reach up from the ground to drag her back below. Chimera had told her all about the ghosts that liked to eat tiny crying girls like her. They were never far from her mind. When the white figure appeared near the palace her tiny little heart stopped and her eyes grew wide as she prayed he wouldn’t notice her, but as his dual toned eyes found her she could see the life in him.

Through her silver gaze she could see the tint of his aura, a subtle bronze glimmer that put the girl at ease. Though he didn’t have the calming silver aura of her mother she knew she could trust the royal color Harbringr wore. She tried to put on a brave face, she knew that no one wanted her to be a timid snivelling pup but she was always so afraid. It was hard to be brave. The man’s smile did manage to put her at ease, his voice was soft and his presence was comforting and reminded her of her father.

He greeted her, offering his name and his relation to her, the comfort of his presence making sense as he mentioned his position as her uncle. ”Hi,” she returned timidly, her long furred tail pressed to her belly as visual proof of her nervous nature. ”Uncle.” He lowered himself, he was gentle and sweet as he welcomed her silently. The tiny child knew where to find comfort and didn’t cower away from him anymore, with no hesitation she removed herself from the rocky wall and shifted to curl up in Hari’s front paws. ”Don’t let the ghosts or monsters get me.” She whispered as she pressed her dainty features into the soft fur of his neck as she clung to him.
