Mortis Fatalis

He was interested to hear about her hunt with his father. He knew his dad went to the Prairie a lot, and had even brought him and Azure along on occasion. She was right that it could wait until after the fight, and said nothing more on it.

The two wolves collided together in battle, and even mortis felt the jolt of the impact. His wings tipped slightly to aid his balance, and her teeth caught the top of his shoulder. Luckily the boy managed to keep his balance, even when she wrapped a foreleg around his elbow and used him for balance.

Wincing at the teeth in his shoulder, the boy snaked his head forward, aiming to get his own teeth around the back of her head between her ears. He let his left elbow give, putting his weight into his back legs, and hoping to catch her off balance, when he brought the same leg around to shove against her chest.
