"Hey, buddy," His head jerked up and turned her way the moment he heard her, ears perking first before falling back. He hadn't expected someone to be sitting there, and he briefly wondered for how long she'd been there and if she'd been watching him. "I'm not lost just...getting my bearings around here." Okay. So he wasn't physically lost. He had been lost in thought which was why he hadn't noticed her there, but he didn't need to tell her that. He looked the woman over for a moment, noting her burly appearance and figured she must be the warrior type. While he wasn't here to fight, he wouldn't let one slip by him if that's what she was here for. He turned to face her so as not to keep her back to her. That would be impolite, wouldn't it? "You here for a fight or something? Seems that's what a lot of others come here to do from the looks of it."

Not him though. But if one presented itself, he'd take the opportunity. But he also wasn't sure if he was in the mood for one...regardless, if she didn't fight him, some other stranger probably would have taken advantage of his distractions and attacked him.
