It looked like the girl had decided to fight but they didn’t try very hard. Theta could have sworn she went for more than just ankle biting as a pup. At least they hadn’t tried to run away so that was a point for the pup.

Theta launched her next attack as she sprung towards the lion’s neck, teeth first. Grabbing it by the scruff, the lion thrashed around trying to fling her off turning side to side. She held on as best she could, her hind paws dragging against the ground with her front paws braced on the lion’s body.
