She smiled shyly, realising she was suddenly surrounded by her family. Poem, and Theory were both right here. She gave the Alpha a friendly nuzzle, and then leaned into Poem. eyeing the stranger as she did so.

Motif said nothing, leaning further into Poem. could part of the ups and downs she kept feeling be connected to this ‘heat’ she winced when Poem mentioned starting a family. There could be nothing further from Motif’s mind, and her heart even twisted at the thought of losing Poem to a mate and child.
