Unfortunately, there was no previous bad blood between the two. In fact, she had arrived in time to hear both of the men give their names: the moon washed one was named Galileo, and the shadow to his opposite side was Hades. Both men aimed their eyes on her, and she was warm with the visual attention. Soak it in, boys. They both denied her question for the occasion, so it would be assumed that this was the first time they were meeting. How quaint. A small sigh of disappointment left her curled lips, her own gaze wandering beyond them to the afternoon sky. The spindly trees of Jade's more were outlined in an orange glow from the ruddy sunset. She remained petrified, admiring the hot colours that bled through the canopy of branches, as still as a golden statue.
Her peridot eyes returned to Hades in particular as he fed her his tidbit of speech. His presence, like he was someone important - and just where did he get that impression? Handsome, no doubt, as most men are, but nonetheless meager and unimpressive. Karmen scoffed quietly, rising to her feet and skipping down to their level. She sauntered to a place in between Hades and Galileo, her hips following her in a serpentine sashay, getting close enough to Hades to brush the hairs on the very tip of her tail against the bottom of his chin. "You make yourself sound awfully important for being just another stray, or maybe I'm just bad at first impressions." Subtle sarcasm coated her milky voice, a whisper of a giggle escaping her jaws as she pivoted and seated herself parallel to Galileo, tucking her tail around her posterior and wiggling her slender shoulders as she got comfortable.
A charming smile sat on her face as she met eyes with the silver one and followed her gaze to Hades once again. "They call me Karmen."
