Answering a question with a question earned him a scolding, which went in one ear and out the other. He couldn't care. There wasn't much caring for anything in the boys head. Not until he was riled up, which was rare. Even at this early age, Chimera was cool and calculating.

His mother answered anyway. She wanted him to be a support system for his sister? Which sister? Certainly not Siren. His tiny, pale sibling was too weak to lead anything. Chi didn't know much about the goings on in the pack because, honestly, he didn't care. The only reason that he was still here was because he was too small to defend himself. He would take what he could from his time growing up here, but he most likely wouldn't make connections. Not lasting ones, anyway. To his mother's wishes for him, the boy simply said, "Oh."
