She wished they could hold off on the next raid so she had more time to replenish their stores but she knew everyone was eager to get the debt to Hjarrandi paid, including herself. She had just finished tidying up her shelves when she heard Acere call from the battle of the ship.

Bending down she slipped her pack onto her back and called out to Halla and her new companion, Svala. The little barn swallow nestled on her back while the macaque walked along beside her. She was the first to arrive and dipped her head to Acere in greeting before taking her seat.
