Mal felt the solid impact of his chest on her shoulder, letting out a grunt as she was forced backwards, her hindpaws kicking up the dirt. Malalia ducked as his jaws came snapping forward in an effort to secure her scruff. She breathed as she stepped back and out of range, only for her hindpaws to be swept out from under her. What??
The girl's back end collapsed with an oof, and in that moment of surprise, the stark red male had indeed grabbed her scruff. Damn it! What could she do, now? Malalia would scramble to her feet again, using the force of her hindlegs to push forward, her jaws aimed to bite down on the man's upper foreleg. At the same time, her forelegs would swipe out to rake her steel claws down the man's chest, in an effort to get him away.
