Mortis stood back a few paces, watching the entertainment and struggling to keep a straight face. He lost the fight in the end, breaking out into little peels of laughter as the pup moved closer to the man. He always asked his dad to tell him when a new wolf joined the ranks. There wasn’t a single new wolf he hadn’t introduced himself to. He was curious and bright eyed, with kindness etched into his expression. As Magnus moved away from the waters edge, the young Armada pup moved forward, prancing towards the stranger. “Your Magnus, right? I’m Mortis” he introduced himself. “Looks like fishing isn’t for you, huh?” |
