Who needs sleep

While his attempt to distract or temporarily blind the man with sand didn't work like he'd expected, it did seem to hide his own positioning enough to allow him to snap at the mans paw and at least get some damage done. He hadn't been expecting the mans other forepaw to come down across his head however, and he was quick to release on the impact and move on, ignoring the throb in his skull where the blow had landed for now while he could in the heat of the spar. This time, he was quick to make the decision to swivel his rear around and face perpendicular to the man's left side, launching forward with his chin tucked in hopes of headbutting Sirius' left side, knocking the air from his lungs being his ultimate goal regardless of the blow to his own head he just took. He'd have to shake off the pain, but it was worth it with his positioning rather than going under and perhaps getting caught on the other side by those fangs.
