As she watched the kits roll down the hill, she noted that they weren't going very far. And why would they? They were puffballs, not slick, smooth coated felines. Maybe she could do something about that. Sliding down from the cart, Iolaire pulled on a wolverine skin coat, latching it about her neck before turning to move away from the cart. She was surprised to see a man standing there. Gold eyes rimmed in poisonous green widened momentarily in surprise. She hadn't been expecting that and it just went to show just how distracted she'd been with her own thoughts.
The man's words were friendly enough though and they brought a chuckle from the small, dark woman. "Oh, kittens are enjoyable in all types of weather." Having heard Iolaire speak, Enki, the father of said kittens, peeled himself away, approaching with a growl on his lips. He didn't like strangers and he especially didn't like them around Iolaire. Bast, the mother of the kittens, followed behind, but kept herself between the babies and the stranger. Iolaire scoffed in a good natured manner and waved the leopards back to their children. "It's okay. If anything goes awry, I'll call for you. Go, enjoy the snow with your children." Though Enki was loathe to leave, he did so, though he never stopped shooting glances her way.
Turning fully to the man, the minuscule fae grinned. "Bad weather for snow leopards means worse weather for wolves. What brings you out this way, uh..." She opened up the floor asking for his name.

Io has a dwarf caribou companion and a snow leopard companion. Assume they aren't with her unless stated otherwise.
