Pestilence was forced to release her bite to dodge Tox's own teeth, though she felt her sister's claws rake against her throat as she pulled away. Her growl was swallowed up from the pressure and she coughed hard, her own paws pressing harder into Toxicity's back to hopefully shove the girl away. She wore her metal claw covers, and so hopefully they'd find purchase beneath the skin during the shove. Everything else faded into the distance, she didn't care how the raid turned out or whether or not the Empire claimed victory over their Armada. She didn't care whether Venom or her mother was disappointed in her actions. The only thing that mattered was punishing Toxicity, marking her permanently and proving for a second time that an Abraxas could never stand against a Klein.
