Moose Tracks with Fudge

Determination settled on Mæva's brown as Resin laid out her plan. It sounded like a good one to the girl and she was anxious to be helpful and show just how much she'd improved. Natha started annoying the moose and Mæva held back at first. She wanted to get an idea for whether it would run when chased or attack them. That would give them an idea as to whether they could chase it where they wanted or would need to tempt it along instead.

As the moose turned to attack the cat Mæva leapt forward and snapped at the moose. It reared and slammed its front legs down before charging at her. She quickly dove into the brush. The moose's great antlers got caught in the low hanging branches of a nearby tree and it thrashed violently.
