The walk wasn't long before they'd crossed the borders and made it to where she assumed was the center of the packs lands. Morning was close yet the heat of the sun had yet to do much but lighten the sky as she was mildly threatened, warned really, to not leave the pack. Death by natural causes or death by fang, she didn't want to find out. A meager nod showed she understood and she swallowed another lump that formed in her throat.
A child hardly older than her, but larger and certainly related to her captor, appeared and the two conversed briefly, more the man than the child. She stood at the end of her leash, eyes flashing between the two until the boy looked directly at her, in which she sheepishly looked away, her tail tucking as she tried to shy herself away from his prying eyes.
