She was mighty pleased with herself, and he was kicking himself mentally for not doing better. Dammit, he had felt sure this time. That surety was probably what cost him the match. That, and her talent. Dammit, but she was good. He let her boop him on the nose, and then he shook his head as though to flick it free of her boop.
