Though Maggot was physically spent by the time they had arrived, her excitement had fueled her to keep up. She paid no heed to the ache in her muscles, deciding she would train them to where Sirius could be proud. The girl snorted at that thought, realizing it was quite childish. Maggot was in awe of the organization of the camp, her eyes skimming over the dens and over the few wolves roaming about. Her head raised from its usual hanging position, and she was quick to run her eyes over everything in reach.
She had tuned out to much of what Sirius had said, but had refocused in time to hear him mention the healer. Her eyes flicked to the coat, and she glanced between Sirius and the coat for a few tense moments. She furrowed her brow in an attempt to conceal how much the small gesture had touched her and opted to instead mumble a soft " thank you. "
The girl then gently picked up the offered coat, its bristly fur tickling her nose. She peered over at the dens, glancing towards Sirius once more before she took a tentative step towards the dens. She assumed this was her cue to settle in, but this was all unfamiliar, and she didn't want to ruin the already poor impression he had of her. However, she guessed she would look worse if she were to refuse the offered accommodations, so she took a tentative step forward.
The girl peered back at Sirius, her voice muffled by the coat as she spoke," Well, I guess I'll go...settle in?" Maggot then padded silently towards the den, her mind swirling with apprehension, but also hope.
