The young girl stood half-hidden on the side of the ship where the path to the cabins was. She'd been watching the raiders gather, wondering who he was going to promote and who would go with him to the next raid. She hadn't been allowed to join the first one because he said she wasn't old enough yet, but now that she was a year old, why wouldn't she be allowed to go? She thought about it for a few moments before watching the other horned youth join the group, and that was when she decided. If he could go, she would go. Or at least, try to go. She stepped away from where she was and took a seat near the front, staring up defiantly at her dad. "I want to go with the raiding party! I'm old enough now, and the experience will be good for me, don't you think?" While she still had a lot to learn in terms of fighting, she thought this would be a good opportunity to learn even more. |
