She'd certainly want someone to empathize with her, if she ever experienced what Anya had gone through. Perhaps that was enough, in the end. Simply acknowledging her pain.
But hey, she didn't know how ghosts worked either. She only knew that they probably wouldn't encounter any more spirits, at least anytime soon. With that, she looked back into the flames, crawling a bit closer and outstretching her paws to warm her pads. Enjoying the night sounded like a good idea. No ghost stories this time around though. Her ears perked at Mortis's inquiry, and she shook her head silently. "No, I don't eat until after my patrol, usually."
