He wasn’t rebuked like he thought that he would be, Asla wrapped her arms around his neck and held onto him tightly. He held her close, regretting the distance and time spent apart. He didn’t know how to help her, but he knew that he wanted to hug and hold her like they were now. More than anything he wanted this. Indy missed her too, and he hadn’t realized just how much until those first few moments reunited.

He missed her, Asla was like his other half and being so distant had hurt. She apologized but the big headed boy just shook his head. He should have tried to seek her out as well, but he’d been so afraid of crowding her. Being apart it seemed to have done more harm than good, but none of it mattered now that they were together again. More was said in silence than in words.
