He knew it wouldn't be so easy to get her to not feel so afraid here. And it saddened him to see the way she approached, the timidness she exuded was nearly palpable and he wondered what he could do to try and help her more if anything. He remained in the position he was in as he nodded. "Yes. I would like to speak with you. As equals." He flicked an ear as he looked at her, a soft smile on his lips as he tried to appear as friendly as possible. "Right now, do not think of me as your alpha," He wondered if that would help her feel more comfortable around him. If it didn't, well then he supposed only time would eventually help her emerge from her shell. He wouldn't force it. Forcing things never did any good. And although his own younger life had been full of being forced, he didn't believe in sticking to that approach for everyone. With someone like Ignis, perhaps. His nephew was strong and could handle the pressure. But Yurei was a softer soul, and he was learning how to better work with her. "Yurei, I would like to ask if you'd be interested in taking an apprentice? You won't have to mentor them alone if you don't want to, I can assign Ignis or someone else to aid you should you need it. You've come a long way since you first joined us...but your skills as a healer have grown, I've noticed. And between you and me, Ignis still struggles with learning herbs since his sister has been absent. If you don't mind, I'd also like for you to help him learn. It's up to you, however. If you don't feel ready taking an apprentice just yet, I'll understand."
