Asla squeezed him tighter and told him that it was all her fault, that she had been the one to stay away and they she’d never meant to hurt him that way. He shook his massive head and held her tighter, not so obtuse to be able to ignore the intense emotions that filled her voice as much as his. He didn’t want her to feel like this, but he didn’t know how to help her either. She hadn’t chosen to open up to him about what was bothering her, and Indy had tried to give her the space she needed. It seemed that all either of them wanted was to be here in each other’s arms.
”Just don’t leave me alone again.” He offered in much more timid tones than his huge size might let onto. He looked massive and immoveable but underneath his rough exterior Indigo was much more vulnerable. He was easily controlled by his intense emotions. The boy held his sister tight, sure that she was the only one he could rely on so heavy, the only one who’s lack of presence could bring him down so far.
