Genius indeed. Resin merely huffed air from her nose as she was complimented. There was no need. She was simply trying to feed the pack. Give them enough food to get them through the worst of the winter and have more to spare for their neighboring pack and ally. Soon all three giants were working at sharpening spears, each in their own way.
While the boys finished up the pile, Resin jumped down into the pit and began digging them hard into the ground, pointed ends upwards, of course. She'd dug the pit large enough that they could trap several bison within. They would simply have to be smart enough to run a group this way rather than just one at a time. Hoofed animals weren't the brightest, but they would know not to run near that area again after hearing the death cries of their brethren.
The scarred woman had been smart enough to dig a set of minimal steps into the side of the pit. It would be easy for the boys and herself to get in and out but the bison wouldn't have a chance. Fitting her batch of spears into the furthermost side of the pit, she waited for Sirius and Roan to finish with their own piles. The sun was high in the sky and set the wilted, golden grasses aglow, further aiding them in their task as it would somewhat blind the bison to the pit.
