Whatever had brought the man this far northwest was a mystery to even him, but he was curious to check out some of the deeper snow he'd heard was found this far north. Coming from a place lacking even the faintest bit of snow, it was quite alluring to see the lands blanketed in a cold, white substance that was simply another form of water. Cold was an understatement really, as he had failed to bring anything to keep his summer coat from letting in too much of the cold winter air. His body shivered here and there, but as he kept up his faster pace he was kept warm enough to avoid succumbing to the cold. It wasn't until he heard a howl that he knew where he was going, and even then he hardly knew where he was. Unfamiliar with the tone of the voice, he approached briskly but kept his distance in case it were someone he'd rather avoid.
In fact, it actually was. Seeing the brown and black form from the distance he had wasn't difficult in the thick snow, as he stood out like a sore thumb no different than he did with his black and grey features. Perhaps if he stuck his head in the snow he'd blend in, but that wasn't something he'd like to try. This kid though, yeah there was no way he'd be able to hide his massive size in this winter hell.
Despite their prior meeting, he smirked and approached the child with the same cocky attitude he had before and expected nothing less from the kid. "Calling for your daddy to come and save you?" He toyed, letting the words slip off his tongue in a taunting way as he paused his approach some yards off. His smirk remained as his tail swayed playfully, hoping to annoy the kid even further than he already had before.
