The girls sudden demand to spar with her took him a bit off guard, but he settled into the thought anyway with a smirk. He didn't expect her to be any different from the rest, but he hardly anticipated sparring with the Empress' daughter this day. Her posture prompted him to make the first move, but he held his own instead, digging his nails into the dirt beneath him while he braced himself. Lashing his tail about, he shook his pelt to relax a bit before locking eyes with her.

"Ladies first." He jeered, winking at her playfully. He hardly knew what to expect with all these mutated wolves running about, but the last thing he anticipated would be her quills inside her thick scruff. He'd seen the snake-like tongue, but otherwise the girl seemed void of any defensive mutations. He'd allow her to attack first however, unless she rebutted his statement in some way.

"Speech!"
