"I..am okay..healing," He looked at her from the corner of his eye, nodding quietly at her response. While he wasn't completely involved in her personal life, he knew about some of the issues she was dealing with from when she joined. And even though she had been with them a while now, he knew those feelings hadn't completely gone away, if at all. He didn't blame her though. He had a feeling she had been hurt by Heloise's abandonment same as he had been. And honestly, he felt bad he hadn't been there to really help her through it...but at the same time, he'd been dealing with it alone, too. He'd been trying to raise his kids the best he could but he never would truly know the hurt that Heloise's abandonment had, or would cause.

With a bit of space between them, of course. "If you don't mind me asking, Yurei. How are you faring in the pack?" He was aware of some of the struggles she endured...but he wasn't sure just how much she was dealing with. He didn't want to outright tell her to tell him. Didn't want to make her feel like she had no choice. He wanted to be there for her, but wasn't sure how to go about doing that without making her feel pressured...
