Magnus spat out the fur stuck to his tacky lips and braced for her next attack, digging his rear paws and stiffening the legs to rise up as well to match her stance. She was taller than him both on all fours and on rear limbs, hopefully giving him the advantage should his next attack work. Tucking his chin, her claws managed to scrape across his temples at a heightened speed as he aimed to ram his head into her lower chest and hope to knock her off balance.
