Iolaire's words and gentle strokes had managed to calm him as the medicine worked it's way into his system and shut off his pain receptors. It was starting to do more than that too as Deathbelle came and cradled his head, although he wanted anything but his blood to sully her fur. It already spilled across Ashen's land and now her, but he was beginning to get too tired to bother him much and he settled into the crook of her arm. The scent of her was calming on its own and he nestled into her for what he could while Iolaire exchanged words with those around them. His vision as well as his mind was beginning to fade while they spoke, and it wasn't long before it took over and he fell to sleep in her arms.
