Hello Echo

The warmth of the alcohol, the warmth of his arms around her, the warmth that ebbed deep down in her belly… She ignored it further as she sunk a little deeper and felt the effects of the drink she’d taken. She was light and heavy at the same time, but mostly she felt good. Her heart fluttered with excitement and she felt the inebriation in waves. Her dark ears listened as he told her vaguely abou this past, but even more passionately he invited her to sing with him again. Poem batted her blue and lavender gaze and smiled softly at the thought.

The girl hiccuped softly but returned her icy white paw to the skein and took another confident gulp before answering. ”I want to sing.” She told him, her voice hinting at slurring as she returned his grin. It was easier to focus on his joy than it was to linger in her sorrow. Slowly her world was narrowing for the night, and it was only her and Sparhawk. ”Teach me a song?” She asked him sweetly as she pressed her other pale paw to his cheek as she looked up into the depths of his gaze.
