They were of equal height, not that he was a yearling, and the light girl stepped a little closer, smiling at Ocean, at her friend. “We already are.” she promised him gently.

It seemed somehow a lifetime ago that she was able to make friends as readily as breathing. So many of them, entered her life, and gone again. She did not know if she would ever see them again.
