“You brought me friendship” Motif teased him gently, becoming more confident with the sweet boy the more they talked. She unwound her long tail from her paws, and lightly flicked it at him. It was long enough to reach him and drape across his own toes with ease.

“I haven’t… I haven’t had a friend in a long time. It actually means a lot to me. So, can I get your gift?” she asked, her lack of confidence coming back to play in the uncertainty of her words, and the timid touch to her smile. She had the perfect something for him, and it would be just like old times. Continuing on her mother's legacy,and passing out feathers as a gesture of friendship. The thought made her heart ache something fierce.
