Indigo leaned into his mother’s affections but he didn’t seek them out. He could handle the sight before him, if he wanted to heal he had to know what he was up against. He was a peaceful boy and lacked bloodlust, but he wasn’t distressed by the bloody scene before him. ”Thanks, mom.” He smiled up at her, but wriggled free of her grasp to better look and see what Iolaire was doing to the near dead man. His blue eyes were wide and interested as she sewed his wounds with deft paws until the cart arrived and his strength was needed.
Though he was young Indigo was obviously the tallest of the wolves gathered, and with careful movements he followed Io’s lead as she carefully shifted him to the deer skin and got him in position to be placed in the cart.
