She seemed to understand, and Azure placed upon his face the most pleasant and comforting smile he could muster. His paw lifted and aimed to touch upon her shoulder reassuringly, his head dipping in a nod. "Good, I know you won't disappoint me." His words were chosen carefully, unwilling to let go of the power she made him feel while still attempting to keep the diplomatic mask his brother had recommended. Besides, his father often rescued slaves and gave them a home so why should Hanako be any different? Surely she had some skills that could help her to earn her keep, and if he ever needed an ego boost he knew where to find it.

With one last glance towards her he threw back his head and howled at the border, calling his father to him to meet the potential recruit. It would have to go through Sirius or Zee before anything could be official, and Azure felt his best chance was with his breaker-of-chains father who had a soft spot for wolves who needed a protector.

Both of Azure's ears have notches and tears.
Az has a scar across his right eye, a mirror image of his natural born marking.
Azure has saber fangs, bone spurs on his elbows and knees, and the paws/forelimbs of a bear.
Not all of these features are always reflected in his art.

Azure's companions are a very big bat and a young clouded leopard, unless otherwise stated assume they're not with him.
