She couldn't deny that she was nervous on the way to Ashen. But she was also equally excited. Her dad had allowed her to join in the raid, and she couldn't wait to prove herself as a useful member of the pack. To prove herself as a warrior, even if she was still in training. Heart pounding in her chest, she stopped with the group as her father turned to address them. She listened quietly, claws flexing into the dirt as the nervous excitement built up. Glancing around at the other fighters, they seemed so...more held together. At least to her. She knew she had a lot to learn still, but what better way to learn than this? She waited as patiently as she could until her father gave the order to march, and once he did she was on her feet and advancing with the rest of the group. She didn't know what would happen or who she'd be fighting, but she was as ready as she could be! Her companion was in the trees above her, keeping an eye ahead while she tried to focus on the task at hand... |
