The fact that Azure was putting it all on the line, and pushing so hard for it made Hanako feel more valuable than diamonds. He didn't have to ask so softly on her behalf, stooping down to a commoners level, but he did and Hanako's heart felt all light and fluttery in her chest. Of course, she didn't want to seem as though she was mocking him in his moment of vulnerability so she bit down on her smile and focused her attention on the Warlord once again. Relief rushed through her system when he finally spoke, accepting her into the Armada with open arms. Her joining came with the condition that she would be in Azure's care, that he would be her guide as she learned their ways but that had been the plan all along, right?
He then went onto mention a raid, that Hanako would need to be trained in order to guard the territory whilst they were away. She didn't exactly know what that meant but she wasn't overly worried as she was sure Azure would explain and show her the ropes when he had the time for it. And then the Warlord's heavy blue gaze was upon her once more and Hanako nodded in understanding. For as tough and as intimidating he seemed there was a gentle air about him, subtle, but ever present as he gave her the directions on what her next steps would be. Her tail began to wag again in quick, excitable sweeps as a smile broke out across her lips. She had a lot of work ahead of her but that wasn't even close to the front of her mind as she relished in her little victory, as though the hard part was over.
"Thank you again, both of you. I won't let you down." She looked to them both, her gaze lingering on Azure for just a second longer. A subtle and silent promise.
