It was time, The Warlord stood at the edge of his territory, looking back across the rolling hills of the grassy territory. Spring had well and truly arrived, and the green, waving sea of grass stretched out before him. The Raid meeting had gone well, after back and forth between himself and those he chose to share the responsibility of power with, decisions had been made. A final list of those that would be granted the ranks of attacking force.

A resource - a cache that he and Deathbelle had buried in their old territory before making their way East towards new lands. Resources they had never had a chance to go back for, and now belonged to Aerie. He remembered them now only as an objective, something for his wolves to work for. An end goal for his true reasoning - experience.

Raising his head, the Warlord looked to those he had assembled beside him, and offered them a toothy smile. “Today, we fight to reclaim a cache of supplies left behind when Ashen moved from Wolfpaw Lake, to the Alabastrine Shrine. We fight for the experience of a raid, and to test the mettle of our neighbours. We do not fight to maim, or take things that they need. We are a hard pack, but we are not unnecessarily cruel. Anyone who initiate a maim today will see the sharp end of my teeth, but I will not rebuke you for answering any escalation they deal upon you. Today, we raid!” he called to his wolves, looking at the assembled faces. His wife, His Reaper, general, Azure, Dunkan, Resin, Natha, Asla, and Indigo. His young battle-hardened children were ready for this day.
