Goosey Gander

She quite enjoyed traveling now that she had started getting out again. It had been too long, and while even though she had some trouble getting around (slow going in her age mostly), it didn't stop her from taking in the scenery. The old woman walked near the bank of the river, but far from the edge just in case her hips decided to go out on her. The last thing she wanted was to fall over and into the river, and she was neither keen on getting wet nor drowning. She wondered what herbs, if any, she might find around these parts. Though that wasnt her main goal, either. She'd been testing herself lately, seeing how far she could go before she couldn't go anymore. After all, if she just sat around pack lands she'd get stiff and stagnant, and she refused to just die lying around in her den.
She muttered to herself as she walked along, but her mutterings were cut short when she heard a hissing sound above the din of the river followed by a threat. "Now I know someone didn't just threaten me," She muttered under her breath as she looked around for whoever spoke. When she laid eyes on the man who spoke, she noticed he was in a stand off with...a goose? Oh hell no! Those were nasty dirty creature with a bad attitude! While she hadn't had too many encounters with geese, she had had enough of the jerks to not want to get too close. She sat a ways off against a tree as she watched them, and then..."You gonna show that bird what's for or what? Show that overgrown pillow who's boss, don't let him order you around!" She shouted at the stranger.
