After her travels with her grandmother, Aslatiel had a lot to think about. The old wolf had urged the child to learn control. Thankfully, she didn't try to alter or do away with Asla's dark thoughts, she simply wanted her to learn when to show them and when to keep them to herself. The girl couldn't dispute her grandmother's wisdom. Showing her less than savory nature at the wrong time had brought her quite a bit of trouble. And so she walked and she thought. There was a peacefulness within her that she hadn't felt in a long time. She sorely needed it. Small paws carried the girl through Ashen territory. She often made her way to the beach. The warm sand and the dull lull of waves was very comforting and calming. The birds weren't terribly loud today, which was nice. The cream and grey girl settled herself in a little divot in the sand, tucking her front paws like a cat. She lowered her head, resting her chin upon the warm, pale sand. If she wasn't careful, she'd quickly fall asleep. The sun was getting lower in the sky, but it wouldn't be dark yet for quite some time. She had a lot of time to rest and contemplate. "Speech" |
