The term of endearment made Aslas grin widen. She was kind of like a little cat, wasn't she? There were the claws of course, but she also liked to slink around quietly and climb trees. Asla-cat. She liked it.

As Mort stroked one big grey ear, the small girl laughed softly, purple eyes twinkling. It was kind of him to think of her and she said as much. "Thanks, Mort. I'd love to practice with you.
