There was never enough things for Asmodeus to do and to see in this new land, finally he'd been allowed to leave the Deluge where he was born and go on a real adventure. While he wasn't old enough to be allowed outside pack territory, as far as Deus was concerned Aerie owned the whole world. Their territory was massive and sprawling and from the pup's point of view it would take weeks just to leave Wolfpaw Lake even if he wanted to. With his sister and father so often sick Deus had learned how to keep himself entertained quite early in life. This particular morning he'd decided to chase birds around the lake, though he was too slow and wobbly yet to actually catch anything. A duck swam close to the shore and the boy pounced, his face and fore-paws landing in the muck and the bird flying away unharmed. How did his father become such a strong Abraxas specimen? Deus knew he'd need to work on his technique if he was ever to equal his family's strength.
