Just one more raid, Kai reminded himself as they neared their raid opponent's borders. He had long since abandoned the idea of fleeing Winterfell and this godforsaken debt, no matter how badly he wanted to - and no matter how unlike himself he felt for adhering to Acere's silly little plan. After this raid he'd be free of these obligations, and could continue his life as he pleased. It felt oddly like his life had been paused entirely, and he was eager to get on with things. Rather than resigning himself to be in foul mood though, he was trying to be optimistic, though it was hard to tell whether or not that plan was succeeding yet.
He let out a silent huff as Acere spoke to them. 'Know that it won't happen again,' Acere said, and Kai had to physically bite his tongue. Damn right it wouldn't, at least not when it came to him. He'd sooner die than be imprisoned again, even under these frustrating circumstances. Had love really gotten him into this mess? His nose wrinkled as he surveyed the scene, watching as Winterfell wolves started to pick their opponents, and as the other side retaliated. His own attention fell to a young female, one with quite unique features, including a unique mask and... were those spines along her back? Intriguing. Kai wasn't one to be intimidated, even by such a unique individual, though that was likely out of foolishness rather than sheer bravery.
Either way, she'd piqued his interest and he wasn't about to back down now. Waiting until she seemed distracted (or at the very least, not looking in his direction) and he aimed to charge her. She was close to the same size as him, though sported a much slimmer build, so he hoped his sheer weight might be enough to send her tumbling right away. He aimed for her left shoulder, hoping to hook his tusks around the upper section of her front left leg - one near her chest, the other just under where her leg met her side - and heaved forward with as much of his weight as he could without the possibility of losing his own balance when she reacted.
