RAID

Natha wasn't terribly surprised by the violence with which Aerie fought. After all, this was a real raid. The raid between Winterfell and Abaven had been a practice raid, albeit a begrudging one. The raid between Ashen and the Armada was also a practice. Wolves rarely sought to maim each other during practice, but this was a form of glorified home invasion and so she didn't bat an eye when one of the Aerie wolves charged Azure. She'd fought a bear with the boy and felt confident in his skills. If he could handle a raging bear he could certainly handle whatever Aerie's warriors could dish out.
However, when one of Aerie's warriors dove for Indigo she got to her feet, hackles raised. She knew next to nothing of the boy. All she knew was that he was an aspiring healer. Her legs coiled beneath her as she debated getting involved. He had the advantage of size. At this age he was barely indistinguishable from an adult. There was also the unfortunate fact that this was part of the experience of battle. Scars would be obtained. Permanent marks made. They were here for the experience of a true raid and that was what they were getting. Though, if the Armada were raided, Natha certainly had no intention of just sitting on the side lines and she felt for the youth who were bearing the brunt of violent attacks. It would be one thing if they were after her or Resin but this was something else.
Natha was itching to get involved, but when she saw the determination on Indigo's face she made her decision and slowly sat back down. She should have faith in Indigo's abilities. She doubted Sirius would have allowed the boy to come if he were not skilled in the arts of battle. She kept her hind legs tucked beneath her, coiled and ready to spring, just in case. At any sign from the boy that he needed help she would spring into action and give these Aerie wolves what for, shredding them beneath her claws like tender winter rabbits.
