Mortis knew that Venom was bad-ass, and when she requested he join her on a little adventure, he was only too keen. He was an enthusiastic and bright-natured wolf, and even his previous trauma with bees couldn’t slow him down. At Venom’s words, he squinted up at the trees dubiously.
“Is that a hint of yellow...there?” he asked, but as he peered closer, it would just be a cluster of bees, no hive beneath. He spread his wings out with a sigh, goosebumps occasionally flicking up his spine. No matter how much he tried to convince himself otherwise, he could never forget the feel of little bee-antennae coming out of his nose.
