BUSTING DOWN THE DOORS

Kai was vaguely surprised by her reaction - instantly she reared up and aimed over him, like she intended to cling onto his back. It was certainly different than his own style of fighting, which was more brutish and based on pure strength... not that he had many options otherwise, given his stature. He winced silently as he felt her unusually sharp claws digging into his flesh. Who the hell was this woman... girl... thing? If she was even a wolf at all, he wasn't really sure. His instinct was to try to flip her off him by throwing his weight again, as his tusks landed on her inner thighs.

Before he was able to react she was latching near his tail and he let out a snarl of frustration. This was nothing like his friendly spar with Rhyme, though he wasn't all that angry yet. He was pretty sure nothing could really match the level of frustration that his entire life had elevated too. At the end of the day this was merely a fight, one he had no real stakes in. Even more surprising than her moves was her companion that charged his face. A low snarl left his throat as he tried to whip her off him, moving hard to his right - so hard, in fact, that he was aiming to literally slam onto the ground on his side, sure that would cause her to loosen her grip on him if nothing else.
