Yes, she was hunting! Úlfr's tail wagged behind him rapidly as his mother caught up with him. The minute Resin asked her question Úlfr gazed up at Valdís with pleading eyes. To his delight she said he could go hunting with the older lady.

"Yes, I want to help. I'm a good hunter. I've caught all kind of bugs and frogs. What are you trying to catch?" He hoped it was something a bit more interesting than bugs and frogs. While he liked those things he was getting a bit tired of hunting the same creatures all the time.
