She released him when his teeth found purchase on her flesh. The taste of blood rushed over his tongue which only fueled him further. The Ashen woman would rise, seeking purchase over his shoulders, though even with her claws digging into his skin, he didn't want to quite relinquish his grip. That is, until she aimed to bite his muzzle. He pulled back, though not quite far enough since her claws practically kept him from moving too far back. In a last ditch attempt, he brought his right foreleg up pretty much aimed to slap her face away from his and deflect the attack while his head turned the opposite way as he sought to bite her left foreleg to try and force her to let go. Greed didn't know the meaning of backing down, even when the odds were stacked against him. He'd always been that way, though perhaps it was all the anger that had boiled up over the years with all the issues he had that often caused him to go all in...if it means scarring up his entire body or worse, he didn't know anything else.
