The festival had been something that had been lingering in passing conversations around their family den for a while now, but now it was finally happening. He was excited and curious about the whole thing and really didn't know what to expect out of it. Even though he had heard bits and pieces of the planning here and there, this was still far bigger than he had anticipated and he was honestly impressed. He walked through the tents and crazy ruckus of it all with an amazing expression and a wide, amused grin. It was all certainly something to see if nothing else! He walked slowly alongside his mother who had surprised him when she had insisted on coming along as well. Ever since their trip up to see Acere she had seemed to have so much more spring to her step and far more spirit than he had seen in her for a long time. He looked down at her, watching how she looked around at everything and smiled. It made him happy to see her up and moving around again. She was even wearing her necklace more often and if he didn't know any better he would think she was back to how he remembered her when he was a pup.

Aurielle's call made his ears perk and they began to make their way down to where she had called from. He spotted his buddy Cairo when they got closer and he blinked with surprise at the intricate, flashy outfit his friend was wearing. Considering he didn't even have his mother's necklace or his usual bracers on today he felt incredibly underdressed. He had at least taken the time to groom properly before he came, but that was about it. He lead the way to sit next to Cairo, nudging his best friend's shoulder with a playful grin. "What's all this then?" he questioned with a chuckle, motioning with his paw to the regalia that was draped over Cai's dappled form. "Is there a best dressed award you're going for or something?"
