Crashing Into Things [AW]

Ulric waded through the crowds of wolves for a few moments more before finally settling on listening to a bit of the music that seemed to be floating through the air everywhere around the festival. It was certainly a few experience for him since he hadn't really experienced music beyond his occasional, non-sensical humming or the small bits of songs his mother would sing when they were pups. This level of music with all of the various instruments they seemed to have everywhere made him incredibly curious so it was at least something he could linger in one place for a while and enjoy. Of course, just as he had found a particular musician to listen to, he was hit with a barreling ball of fluff that connected solidly with his front leg. The initial impact made him stumble to the side a bit to catch himself and he ended up bumping shoulders with the wolf standing next to him. He gave the other wolf a quick apologetic glance before looking to see who or what had just run into him and his eyes landed on a pup that looked solid black at first glance, but as the boy hopped to his feet and moved around the multi colored glow of his fur became more apparent. Without a shadow of a doubt he knew this was one of Aurielle's children even before the boy's scent confirmed it for him. No one else he had ever met had that sort of glow to their fur so it proved to be a very distinctive trait. He was going to ask the pup if he was okay, but the way be bounced up immediately and started apologizing immediately told him that he was totally fine. He couldn't help but grin at the resilience and elasticity of puppy bodies. "That's alright! No harm done," he insisted with a chuckle. A quick glance around the crowd told him that Aurielle wasn't with him, but there was no doubt in his mind that the alpha's son would certainly have someone keeping an eye on him so at least he didn't have to worry about him being lost. He looked back down at the pup with a smile. "Would you like to watch the musician with me? You can climb up on my back if you want." The nice thing about being a head taller than most wolves was that it was very easy to see over a crowd. Perhaps he could put his height to work to entertain this pup for a bit. |
